We are pleased to welcome Hugo Martinez as the Campus Safety Supervisor on the Salem Campus. Hugo brings a wealth of experience in student support and emergency response, most recently serving as a Campus Safety Officer at the Pacific Northwest College of Art (PNCA).
With a background in residential life and a strong academic foundation, Hugo graduated summa cum laude from Portland State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in criminology and criminal justice. During his time at PSU, he also served as a Resident Assistant. Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Emergency Management and Community Resilience, Hugo further demonstrates his commitment to campus safety through multiple FEMA certifications in emergency preparedness and response. We are excited to welcome Hugo to the Willamette community and look forward to the positive impact he will make in fostering a safe and resilient campus environment.
