Congratulations to all of our alumni who were juried into and participated in the 2018 Lake Oswego Festival of the Arts.
The focus exhibition this year was Layers: The Evolving Art of 3D Printing. Alumnus, Josh Hughes was an invited artist, delivering the opening day Artist's Talk, and showing a number of his 3D printed works. Alumna Barbara Kinzle, who works at Form3D one of Portland's leading 3D fabrication shops, gave a talk on 3D scanning.
Jenna Reineking and Nick Patton took their Tumblewheel Studios to the Festival for three days of art workshops. Tumblewheel is a 2001 Bluebird school bus they are converting into a traveling art classroom and maker space.
Patton had work in the juried exhibition, Artist's Vision. Andrew Newell, Matthew Berger, and Mazey Moon collaborated on a sculpture (above) made out of discarded 3D prints. Julian Voss-Andre and Lindsey Rhodes also had work in the festival.
