Students packed Jackson Plaza and the adjacent sidewalks on Thursday evening, as they explored Willamette’s extensive opportunities for recreation, academic pursuits, civic engagement and social connection.
During the Activities and Resources Expo sponsored by the Office of Student Activities, more than 100 student organizations, university offices and departments, and off-campus resources and vendors showcased how students could become involved in the community and make the most of their time at Willamette.
Whether their passions included dancing, sports, STEM, cyber security, tutoring, languages, gaming, filmmaking or baking, Bearcats were able to find like-minded people and organized groups. Participating student organizations ranged from Active Minds and Boffer Club to SACNAS and Women in Computer Science.
If you were unable to attend or seek more information about opportunities and resources available to students, stop by the Office of Student Activities on the second floor of the University Center or go to the office’s webpage.
