The new school year brings changes of staffing responsibilities within the Division of Student Affairs.
Domanic Thomas has been promoted from senior associate dean of students to dean of students. While continuing to focus on student crises, the on-call dean program and student discipline, Thomas will also oversee the offices of Multicultural Affairs and Campus Involvement, in addition to Bishop Wellness. He will also continue to serve as deputy Title IX coordinator.
University Dining Services has moved to the Division of Student Affairs. Vice President Ed Whipple, while responsible for student life, dining and housing, athletics and the chaplains, will also be involved with community outreach and engagement initiatives on behalf of the university.
Also in student affairs, Jill Munger has been named director of student affairs facilities and summer programs. She will work closely with student affairs departments and serve as a liaison to facilities regarding specific needs. Munger will also work closely with summer conferences and help develop a robust summer program on campus.
