Willamette Law is thrilled to welcome the Class of 2021 to campus. This is the largest incoming class the College of Law has seen in the past five years.
“Already we can tell that this is an extremely engaged group of aspiring lawyers who are motivated to make a difference in the world,” said Curtis Bridgeman, dean of Willamette Law. “They are talented and bring a wide variety of experiences along with their impressive credentials. We are excited to welcome them to the Willamette community!”
The incoming class is comprised of 130 JD students, plus one MLS student and one LLM student.
For the fourth time in history, more than half of the new class are women.
Prior to coming to Willamette, notable occupations of the incoming class include a personal chef, a chemistry teacher, a commercial hazelnut farmer, an actress, a 911 dispatch operator, a ski instructor, a personal trainer, a surfer and many hikers and musicians. Top undergraduate feeder schools — of the 77 undergraduate institutions represented — include Oregon State University, University of Oregon, Portland State, Brigham Young University, Willamette University and University of Washington.
