Willamette University MBA has been named one of Poets&Quants’ Top 100 U.S. MBA Programs, once again cementing Atkinson Graduate School of Management’s status as the top ranked MBA program in Oregon.
Willamette MBA has landed on the Poets&Quants list for several years. On the 2017 list, the program holds onto its No. 77 spot from last year. According to Poets&Quants, this was typical among most schools on the list, most of which “either stayed exactly where they were last year or moved up or down by one place.”
Poets&Quants formulates its Top 100 U.S. MBA Programs list by combining five different influential business school rankings — including Bloomberg Businessweek, Forbes and U.S. News & World Report — to assign each program a composite score. By blending major rankings together, with each of them holding an individual credibility weight, the Poets&Quants list takes into account a breadth of data, from students’ median GMAT scores and recruiter surveys to alumni salary and employment information.
“This top-tier ranking is a testament to the hard work of the entire Atkinson community — students, alumni, faculty, staff, employers and friends,” said Dean and JELD-WEN Professor of Free Enterprise Debra J. Ringold. “A special thank you goes to Judy O'Neill, Willamette MBA’s consultant to the deans and emeritus associate dean, who interacts with the various ranking agencies with integrity and competence.”
