Celebrate Multiracial Heritage Week from March 10th-14th! This national celebration is usually recognized from June 7th-14th, but we're doing it a little earlier. This is a time to honor the identities, histories, and stories of multiracial people. The term Multiracial is defined as a person who identifies with two or more racial groups and is an umbrella to Biracial, which more specifically refers to individuals with two different racial backgrounds (Atkin et al. 2022).
We also bring education, celebration, and community-building to our campuses through a variety of programs. See below for a selection and join us in celebrating this month. A full listing and all of the details can be found in the link attached to this announcement below.
