Meet the team- Assistant General Manager Nicole Arreola

Nicole moved from Pacoima, California at the age of four and was raised in Keizer, Oregon. She grew up with a passion and love for cooking that started at her grandma’s knee, and she was introduced to the food industry via the Subway booth at the Oregon State Fair when she was 15 years old. She worked various restaurant jobs before she enrolled in Linn-Benton Community College to obtain her Associate's Degree in Culinary Arts, where she graduated as an honor student in Phi Theta Kappa in 2011.

She joined the Bon Appétit team in 2012 as a deli chef at Intel in Hillsboro, Oregon. Her tenure with the company has included a multitude of roles, including grill cook, catering lead, front-of-house supervisor, bookkeeper, and most recently assistant general manager. She looks forward to taking the knowledge and expertise she gathered from her previous experiences and applying them to her new role. Sanitation, safety, and fun are her inspirations and what she desires to bring to Willamette, with a goal to include more students and student organizations in the menu planning.

Nicole is a huge Harry Potter fan. When not working, she spends time with her parents, siblings, friends, and cats.
