The Diversity of Loss grief support group provides a dedicated space for bereaved individuals to gather, to learn about creative ways of expressing loss, and to support one another in processing grief. This group takes an arts-assisted approach to expressing loss, which means that participants will be invited to create and reflect on the process of creation during each session. Creative approaches we use in our group include: writing for wellbeing, collage, composition work, sculpture, and painting. No previous art experience is required, as the creative techniques we feature are in the service of grief expression. This means the artistic expression is much more about the process of creating than the product. Refreshments and art materials will be provided. Please follow the link or scan the QR code to sign up by September 12. The Fall 2024 group begins Monday September 16.
