After successful testing with our vendor, we are confident that Coursedog Events is ready to use. We are excited to have you see all that it can do. The tool will be accessible to all faculty, staff, and student club presidents who currently use EMS.
In preparation to go live, we want to prepare you for the following:
• There will be a one week migration period, currently planned to take place from August 30-September 6, 2024, at this time EMS will become-read only
• EMS will remain available in read-only mode for 6 months, allowing users to access historical information before it is taken offline
• Any events that are still “active” (have not yet occurred) as of the date of migration, on August 30, 2024, will carry over from EMS to Coursedog Events
• During this period and until we go live with Coursedog Events you will need to work with our scheduling office directly for any urgent needs
• After 6 months, EMS will be taken offline and access to historical information will be available by request only
• We are planning a live training on September 11, 2024 with a select group of Super Users; a recording of that training will be available for all users when we go live
• Our current target to go live is September 16, 2024, where you will be able to log in and begin using Coursedog Events
