Join the Gender Resource & Advocacy Center and the Women's History Month Planning Committee in celebrating Women's History Month through our annual Women of WU campaign, showcasing women who have made positive contributions to our community through their advocacy for equity, diversity, and inclusion.
The purpose of this project is to provide recognition, visual representation, and insightful narratives about leaders on our campus, creating a historical account of impactful women. This ongoing initiative aims to highlight empowering leaders each year, inspiring others on our campus. This year, we will align with the national theme, "Women Who Advocate for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion," during the selection process. When writing your nomination, please consider this theme, particularly focusing on individuals who use their unique gifts and skills to support our community through advocacy for equity, diversity, and inclusion.
We invite you to nominate women in our community — students, staff, and faculty — who have positively influenced your Willamette experience. The Women's History Month Committee will review the nominations after this form closes and will subsequently contact the nominees. Selected participants will be asked to provide a bit more information about themselves, which will be featured in our 6th annual Women of WU poster and social media campaign.
Submit your nominations via the link below by Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 5 p.m.
Read the list of previous nominees below to avoid nominating those who have already received the honor.
