If you are a strong student with an established track record of leadership and a desire to learn more about your chosen field and about Asia, consider applying to the Luce young scholars program. The Willamette application deadline will be early September, so you should begin the application process this summer. Past Luce scholars have come from many diverse fields ranging from archaeology and environmental science, the performing arts and journalism. The program finds appropriate internship placements somewhere in Asia for the selected scholars. It is the opportunity of a lifetime.
