On Wednesday, April 5, the Writing Center will be hosting a Book Launch Party for Oakley Phoenix, author of The Gender Friend. From 7–9 p.m. in Ford 122, Oakley will be joined by Jackson Bird, writer and LGBTQ+ advocate. The program will include a book launch, a conversation between the authors, and a Q&A. In advance of the event, students may pick up a free copy of Oakley's book from the bookstore, GRAC, or the Writing Center.
