Sponsored by the CAFES Committee, the Professional Advancement & Identity Development (P.A.I.D.) fund is a needs-based project that helps alleviate financial barriers to students’ professional development and advancement. Students may request funding for professional development opportunities, including conference registration and travel fees, GRE/MCAT/LSAT registration, graduate school application fees, purchasing professional attire, registration for courses/certifications, supplemental classroom materials, etc. Priority will be given to students who identify as low-income, first-generation, and/or BIPOC.
Requests will be submitted to the Career Advisor for the Renjen/Deloitte Pathways Program. Requests will then be review by our committee on a monthly basis. Students will be contacted to set up a meeting to review their request following submission. For questions, contact Ilan Palacios Avineri: ipavineri@willamette.edu.
