Are you a faculty/staff member who loves to move and groove? Maybe you took dance classes as a kid, you're the star of your local Zumba class, you've been known to tear up the dance floor at a wedding — or maybe you just love music and want to start your dance journey today.
Well, you're in luck! The student organization "Willamette Dance Company" is putting on their semester showcase and is introducing a faculty/staff dance number this time. The piece will be choreographed by Kaelyn Kappes (Assistant Director of CAS Admissions) and Taylor Hamura (Dance Co. president).
Absolutely zero past dance experience is required, and the time commitment for faculty/staff interested will be very low — only 2-3 required rehearsals total.
Performances are April 20 and 21 at 7 p.m. For more information, please refer to the letter from Taylor Hamura linked here, or email Kaelyn Kappes at kkappes@willamette.edu. We hope to share the stage with you soon!
