Pacific Northwest College of Art's collaboration with Portland-based design studio Incubate on the redesign of its BFA recruitment materials has earned a Merit award in HOW magazine's 2009 Promotion Design Awards.
The dual entry features a viewbook, expanded materials and envelope that together highlight PNCA's vibrant culture, featuring work by PNCA students and alumni including illustrations and photography. The set also shows the College's commitment to sustainability-it was printed with all soy-based inks and 100% recycled FSC-certified paper.
The College submitted its BFA recruitment materials along with "Incubate":www.incubatedesign.com, an award-winning design studio led by Brian Acevedo, PNCA Faculty and Dylan Nelson.
