Honoring excellence: faculty tenure and promotions

by Provost Jennifer Henderson,
Willamette's historic Salem campus

Willamette University is proud to recognize the scholars and educators who have earned tenure or promotion, the highest professional recognition in academia. Faculty undergo an exhaustive review by department faculty and university promotion and tenure committees. Tenure recommendations are forwarded by the dean and provost to the Board of Trustees, which holds the authority to grant tenure.

These faculty have demonstrated not only national distinction in their fields, but a commitment to the intellectual and personal growth of every student they teach. Please join us in celebrating their accomplishments.
