Dear Willamette Community,
The Willamette University Board of Trustees has set charges for 2019–20. Tuition will be $51,750, and the standard room and board package will be $12,935. The increase in tuition equals $2,000 annually.
Willamette University seeks to provide the best undergraduate education in the Pacific Northwest through award winning faculty who have a passion for teaching and a personal connection with students. Our new majors in data science, public health and the addition of a business minor are just of few examples of how our faculty are continually improving the Willamette experience.
As we build our annual budget in support of this goal we analyze our expenses to deliver a high-quality education as efficiently as possible. Still, tuition by itself does not cover the full cost of a Willamette education. All of our students are supported by our endowment, by gifts to the annual fund, and often by gifts and grants from other sources. We are very grateful to the alumni, friends and families whose contributions support the success of our students.
Finally, all families are encouraged to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid and speak with the Office of Financial Aid if they have concerns about their ability to pay for college.
