In spite of the rain Thursday evening, students packed Jackson Plaza and the sidewalk along the Mill Stream at the Activities and Resources Expo.
Sponsored by the Office of Student Activities, the event featured 112 student organizations, university offices and departments, and off-campus resources and vendors. Students learned about and signed up for activities ranging from Greek life, intramurals and international programs to student groups such as Willamette Emergency Medical Services, Nerf Club and Poi Club.
Paradigm, a new hip-hop dance club, performed. Many booths, including those sponsored by Willamette Events Board and the Office of Career Development, gave away prizes.
If you couldn’t attend the expo and would like to join an organization or get more information, contact Emily Morris, associate director of student activities, or go to Student Activities’ webpage.
