A cup of the Pacific Northwest’s famed Caffè Umbria coffee tastes great any time. But the artisan roasts are even better than usual from 7.30-9:30 a.m. tomorrow.
At the grand reopening of the College of Law’s Rick’s Cafe, Caffè Umbria espresso bar beverages are available at 50 percent off during that time.
Caffè Umbria coffees are just one of the changes to be found at the law school’s cafe, which was originally opened in 2010 and named in honor of Rick Wollenberg JD’78. This summer, Bon Appetit took over management of the cafe, made improvements to provide faster service and introduced a new menu of food and beverages, including fresh pressed juices, smoothies and grab-and-go foods.
“We were excited to be offered the opportunity to run this unique venue,” says Chris Linn, director of dining services. “We've partnered with Caffè Umbria to ensure that our baristas are trained to a very high standard and are serving an exceptional selection of coffees.”
Rick’s Cafe, open Monday to Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 3 p.m., welcomes all members of the Willamette community.
