Future attorneys and management leaders have arrived at Willamette University, immersing themselves in an array of orientation activities at both the Atkinson Graduate School of Management and the College of Law.
Ranging from team-building events to workshops, the activities are designed to help the 175-plus new students acquaint themselves with their fellow classmates and learn more about the rewarding and rigorous academic journey ahead of them.
Learn more about the incoming classes:
• The College of Law has a diverse class of 94 first-year law students, speaking 10 different languages and representing 60 different undergraduate institutions both in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to law school, the students worked as everything from office managers and accountants to architects and grant writers.
• The Atkinson Graduate School of Management has 81 new students — plus two exchange students — in its Early Career MBA and Career Change MBA programs. The students come from nine states and 16 countries. The MBA for Professionals programs in Portland and Salem also have strong classes, which start in September.
