PNCA students receive $15,000 in scholarship support in our Annual Collaboration with Argyle Winery: The Art of Sparkling

While the process looked a little different this year, PNCA’s annual collaboration with Argyle Winery continued last month, culminating in an online unveiling of the winning students’ work.

PNCA students Eduardo Soto, Roger Schuff, and Shannon Driscoll had their designs featured on Argyle’s The Art of Sparkling limited edition three-bottle set. In lieu of touring the winery and vineyard in person, this year’s student artists experienced a virtual tour of Argyle’s facilities and received a “vineyard in a box” containing materials from the winemaking process to serve as inspiration for their work.

“We knew that the artists were interested in textures, colors, and patterns that they usually get to see firsthand when they come to visit,” said Argyle Marketing Coordinator Cathy Martin. “Since they couldn’t come to the vineyard and winery, we sent some of Argyle to them.”
