Bijan Berahimi, who runs our third-year Graphic Design studio class is running a workshop and design sprint with his partners at FISK Studio/Gallery at next weekend's Bend Design Conference. "How Fast Can You Design?" is on October 26 at 1:30pm.
Participants will work together to create the BND DSGN 2018 official catalog—fast. Workshop participants will become contributors to a unique artifact, collaborating with FISK to gather and create content. Together, the group will design, photograph, write, scan, edit, transcribe, lay out, produce, and distribute this one-of-a-kind documentation of Bend Design 2018.
PNCA Graphic Design is sponsoring conference fees for up to 2 students who would like to attend the weekend.
FISK Projects is a full-service, collaborative creative studio based in Portland. They work on multi-disciplinary projects for clients such as Toro y Moi, Harry’s, adidas, Nike, University of Oregon, Q Center, Facebook, Uniqlo, Beacon Sound, Reverie, Cocanú, Tiësto, Source Material, and GOOD Magazine. And...they also run an art gallery out of their space, presenting exhibitions by national and international artists.
