Congratulations to MFA in Applied Craft + Design chair Heidi Schwegler whose works including a mixed media sculpture titled Passing Resemblance and a set of three cast glass forms from her Separation Anxiety series have recently been acquired by the Portland Art Museum. Schwegler is a Hallie Ford Fellow and has been a finalist for the Contemporary Northwest Art Awards. She is represented by Upfor where she is scheduled for a solo exhibition in the spring of 2017. Schwegler will also have a show at Mark Moore Gallery, Los Angeles in the summer of 2017.
