The Atkinson Graduate School of Management (Willamette MBA) has been recognized once again as a top U.S. MBA program in Poets&Quants’ MBA ranking for 2022–23. Willamette is ranked 76th, which is the highest the school has ever achieved on the Poets&Quants’ list, making Willamette MBA the top-ranked MBA program in Oregon and the second-highest-ranked program in the Pacific Northwest.
“It is an incredible achievement to be recognized as a Top 100 U.S. MBA program among more than 1,100 AACSB-accredited MBA programs,” said AGSM dean Örn Bodvarsson. “This ranking is a testament to the talent, commitment, and hard work of the entire Willamette community — students, alumni, staff, faculty, friends, and our public and private sector partners.”
Poets&Quants formulates its top 100 list by combining scores from the world’s five most influential business school rankings into one comprehensive, composite score for each school and represents the “Definitive List of the Top 100 U.S. MBA Programs.” They note that while it might be easy to overlook the final quartile of schools on its list, “it’s important to remember that there are more than 1,100 accredited full-time MBA programs in the U.S. So any business school making this ranking is among the top 10% of all the MBAs in the country.”
Willamette MBA offers generous scholarship aid to all admitted students. “Our generous scholarship aid is one of the many reasons the brightest MBA candidates choose us,” says Dean Örn Bodvarsson. “Other reasons include our stellar faculty and staff, incredibly supportive alumni community, and exceptional career services.”
Willamette MBA’s Career Management team has led career treks to local corporate giants including adidas, Alaska Airlines, Amazon, Fortive, Intel, Microsoft, Nike, Nordstrom, T-Mobile, and many others. This January, the Career Management team will be taking our students to Amazon again with more planned for February and March.
