The Pacific Northwest College of Art honored about 49 students on Sunday at the Tiffany Center in Portland.
Executive Director of Caldera Arts Kimberly Howard Wade delivered the commencement address. Elizabeth Arzani ’22, MFA in visual studies, delivered the graduate student address and Emma Wiseman ’22, BFA in graphic design, delivered the BFA student address.

Pacific Northwest College of Art empowers artists and designers to reimagine what art and design can do in the world. Founded in 1909 as the Museum Art School in Portland, Oregon, PNCA offers 11 art and design Bachelor of Fine Art programs, eight graduate programs including Master of Arts and Master of Fine Arts programs within the Hallie Ford School of Graduate Studies, a Post-Baccalaureate program, and Community Education courses for artists and designers of all ages.
Nearly 500 students were honored for their accomplishments at Willamette University’s annual commencement ceremonies.
At parties, reunion dinners and faculty lectures, friendships were formed and connections were reforged across campus, all based on one thing: a shared love of the Willamette University community.
Willamette’s Debate Union is on a winning streak this year as students take on arguments about the country, the world and (sometimes even) other worlds.
