Welcome to Bearcat Day!

by Marketing and Communications,
Blitz with student

Bearcat Day kicks off March 11 with check-in at 10 a.m. and concludes with dinner at 5 p.m.

During your day on campus, students will:

  • observe a class
  • meet new and current Bearcats for lunch
  • explore campus on a guided tour
  • visit with professors at "open hearths" and
  • learn more about the resources, spaces, organizations and offices available on campus that work to help students thrive.

Parents, family members and guests joining students will:

  • enjoy friendly conversation over lunch
  • hear from key community members that support our students and
  • have the option to schedule an appointment with financial aid before joining their students for campus tours, "open hearths," and the resource fair.

For families who wish to stay into the evening, we will host a 6 p.m. reception where you'll be able to mingle with staff and faculty and sample wines from the Willamette Valley. Students can remain on campus to experience a variety of special social events from 6-8 p.m.

Detailed schedules will be available at the Bearcat Booth, located on Brown Field between Putnam University Center and Mill Street. Any questions about the event can be answered there, too.
